Jeffrey Pence, MD

Dr. Pence is a pediatric surgeon and Trauma Medical Director at Dayton Children's.

Dr. Pence attended Duke University for his undergraduate degree and New York Medical College for his doctorate of medicine. He completed his residency in general surgery from Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Pence completed his fellowship in surgical critical care and trauma from Duke University Medical Center and his fellowship in pediatric surgery at The Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado.

Before coming to Dayton Children's in 2008, Dr. Pence was an assistant professor of surgery at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Currently, Dr. Pence is an associate professor of surgery at the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University.
