clinical research to improve the lives of children in our communities and beyond

Dayton Children’s is dedicated to pursuing clinical research that helps children live healthier lives. Our research program is built on a culture of innovation, and expanding rapidly. More than 165 human subject research investigations are currently underway at Dayton Children’s, including investigator-initiated and industry-supported clinical trials.

The Dayton Children’s Research Steering Committee provides leadership and vital resources to fuel the pursuit of scientific discovery. This includes continuing to build a strong infrastructure to support investigators in their academic research endeavors. Prior to institutional board review, proposed studies undergo a thorough evaluation by our Protocol Review Committee, to ensure that institutional resources are in place. Grants, clinical research coordination and administrative assistance may be available to investigators who seek these opportunities.
