Jubin Mathews, DO is a pediatric gastroenterologist at Dayton Children's Hospital. Dr. Mathews was raised in New York. She completed her medical school education at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Following college, she completed her pediatric residency at Nicklaus Children's Hospital (formerly Miami Children's Hospital) in Miami, Florida. She received training in pediatric gastroenterology at Children's Hospital at Montefiore in Bronx, New York. Dr. Mathews is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology. During her time here at Dayton Children's she has developed a special interest in celiac disease, eosinophilic esophagitis, and medical education.
When asked why she chose to specialize in pediatric gastroenterology she said that she enjoys working with children and their families to help them find solutions to their medical problems.
One of her favorite things about working with children is that they are our future! Working with kids gives her the opportunity to invest in the next generation in a meaningful way.
Outside of work, Dr. Mathews enjoys drawing, sewing, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Mathews caught that my son head was way to large when his doctor kept telling us that he going to have big head. I'm thankful for that. She order an ultrasound we found out he has fluid on brain. She saved my son.

Love Dr. Mathews!! She is incredibly thorough and patient. I have an autistic daughter and she is wonderful with her.

We love Dr. MATHEWS she listens about my concerns she doesn't rush our appointments she really does care about all her patients I'm so glad we see her for my sons GI issues she's the best thank you dr. MATHEWS keep doing what your doing don't change anything
