Jubin Mathews, DO is a pediatric gastroenterologist at Dayton Children's Hospital. Dr. Mathews was raised in New York. She completed her medical school education at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Following college, she completed her pediatric residency at Nicklaus Children's Hospital (formerly Miami Children's Hospital) in Miami, Florida. She received training in pediatric gastroenterology at Children's Hospital at Montefiore in Bronx, New York. Dr. Mathews is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology. During her time here at Dayton Children's she has developed a special interest in celiac disease, eosinophilic esophagitis, and medical education. When asked why she chose to specialize in pediatric gastroenterology she said that she enjoys working with children and their families to help them find solutions to their medical problems. One of her favorite things about working with children is that they are our future! Working with kids gives her the opportunity to invest in the next generation in a meaningful way. Outside of work, Dr. Mathews enjoys drawing, sewing, and spending time with her family.
