get to know me

I chose my specialty because...

I feel passionate about the importance and health benefits of breastfeeding and human milk. I wanted to empower families with knowledge to make informed decisions about their family’s health, and want parents to have the support and tools they need to meet their feeding goals. I love working with moms and infants and seeing the relief that moms experience when they can feed their baby with comfort and confidence.

I like working with kids because...

Babies are amazing creatures! They have skills and communication abilities that I enjoy observing and helping parents to identify, and they change so quickly. Nurturing parent/child relationships and communication is so rewarding to me. It is a privilege to take part in their care at a time when I can help impact their health for a lifetime.

I chose to work at Dayton Children's because...

At Dayton Children’s I can do what I love and be supported in my value to commitment to my own children as well. I can be part of genuine work to not only do the right thing for patients and their families, but to truly give care that goes above and beyond.

Dayton Children's is special because...

Dayton Children’s demonstrates such dedication to the health of all children, provides family centered care realizing that caring for the child’s parents is crucial, and displays a true commitment to equity.
