get to know me

I chose my specialty because...

I was interested in working with children and families who were coping with various medical conditions.

I chose to work at Dayton Children's because...

working in a children's hospital had always been my "dream job." I wanted the opportunity to work with children and teens in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. I have stayed for so many years because I can't imagine enjoying my work anywhere else as much as I do here at Children's.

Dayton Children's is special because...

everyone who works here truly cares about the well-being of the children in this community. Because Dayton Children's is a smaller hospital, the staff really get to know the children and families who come through our doors. I think this makes the whole experience of visiting a hospital much easier for children.

Very personable and understanding. We received some great tips right off the bat and they have been very helpful so far at home. My daughter also told others that Dr. Julie was "so nice". Overall a good first visit for not having experienced this service before and we are all eager to learn more!

Dr. Stucke is a great provider. She's very thoughtful. She listens. She gives great feedback and she gives you great advice on how to move forward in the direction that will be most beneficial for my child and how we can as parents can work with, with him to build his confidence and to move forward into life. She's wonderful. I love her. I think she's great and we need to keep finding more like her.
