Gianni Maione is a board-certified child psychiatrist working in psychiatry and in the day treatment program at Dayton Children's Hospital. He specializes in treating children with ADHD, depression, anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder and conduct disorder. Dr. Maione is also an assistant professor at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
I have always been fascinated by the human mind and behavior. During my medical training, I found that I was drawn toward cases that involved mental health. Psychiatry has always left me feeling more fulfilled as a provider and I enjoy the process of getting to know my patients.
they are fun and enjoyable to treat and interact with. Kids have a strength and resilience that I admire, and it feels great when I can help improve the quality of life for a child and their family.
I have always felt welcomed. During my fellowship training at Wright State University, I felt as a valued member of the team amongst my colleagues and that I mattered. I also witnessed a similar attitude from my colleagues as they created a warm environment for the patients.
the entire team is committed to a positive patient experience while also contributing to a friendly environment for patients and families.
He enjoys hiking with his two dogs and going to local food festivals.
