bio

I am currently a nurse practitioner at Dayton Children's in the Developmental Pediatrics Department. I have been at Dayton Children’s since 2013 but with Developmental Pediatrics since 2015. I have been a RN since January 2002 and begun practicing as an advanced practice nurse in July 2006. My first job as an RN was at Dayton Children’s from 2002-2006 where I worked in the IMCU. Upon graduation with my CPNP license I worked in primary care from 2006-2009 and then in a primary care office for medically complex children from 2009-2013. I have a special interest in medically complex patients.

I am truly passionate about working with medically complex children and their families.  I feel honored to be a part of their care and take pride in being able to help them through their health journey.

I want to a part of a health care team who go above and beyond every day to make a difference in the life of a child and their family.

they take caring for children to a new level and are always working towards providing better care for kids.

Emily Boone is SIMPLY AMAZING !! DAYTON CHILDREN'S IS LUCKY TO HAVE HER AS A PROVIDER. SHE HAS HELPED MY SON SO MUCH MORE THAN ANY OTHER PROVIDERS HAS . SHE IS ALWAYS FAST AT ANSWERING MY CHART MESSAGES . WE DON'T HAVE TO WAIT TWO THREE DAYS OR A WEEK FOR A REPLY . SHE IS THE MOST CARING PERSON I HAVE EVER MET AT DAYTON CHILDREN'S . IF THERE'S AN EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH AWARD SHE SHOULD GET IT EVERY MONTH .
