Joe Day, MPAS, PA-C is a pediatric neurosurgery physician assistant at Dayton Children's Hospital. Joe completed his masters of science at D'Youville College in Buffalo, New York. He went on to complete his post-graduate, physician assistant fellowship in pediatric surgery at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas. Joe is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). When asked by he chose to specialize in pediatric neurosurgery he said it's because of the new challenges everyday. "Pediatric neurosurgery is a rapidly advancing field that combines technological and clinical expertise to help diagnose and treat neurological conditions." Joe enjoys working with children because of their resiliency and fun nature. Helping them reach their full potential is the most rewarding thing to Joe!
