Our appointment was at 9:30am. We were taken back to a room at approximately 9:10am. It was early, I had all 3 children with me. They had not had time to eat breakfast. Were completely bored with nothing to entertain them while waiting for the doctor. At 10:12am the nurse came in to apologize the doctor was running late. Already at 9:30am this provider was behind! I informed the nurse we were leaving at 10:15am. We were not waiting any longer, with 3 hungry children. I schedule early appointments to avoid ling wait times and providers being behind already. The nurse informed the doctor of our feelings. She then brought in coloring books for the children. Finally, the doctor entered the room.

After being hesitant to see anyone for her celiac diagnosis besides Dr. Mezoff, our daughter LOVED Dr. Rustagi. She could not see the reasoning in needing to reestablish care in the GI clinic however left with a good understanding of the follow up recommended for those with celiac. Celiac disease is more than just avoiding gluten, and thanks to Dr. Rustagi she has a better understanding of the effects on her body, the disease as a whole, and the future care required to help keep her healthy.

Rustagi was awesome!! She listened and didn't talk down to me! She gave me alternatives that my original GI never gave me....and was genuine.
