Jarnai Alexander is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner at Dayton Children's Hospital urgent care and Kids Express. She previously worked in the NICU at Miami Valley Hospital for seven years and is excited to expand her knowledge and skill set by working at our Kids Express and urgent care locations. She received her undergraduate degree from Ohio University and completed her graduate school at Cedarville University.

I chose my specialty because...

after seeing some of my family members experience pediatric hospital/unit stays, I felt called to be able to help other children and their families in similar ways. Pediatrics is such a rewarding field to have a career in!

they are able to see the light in any situation, there is never a dull moment and there is always so much to learn.
