get to know me

I chose my specialty because...

I enjoy working with patients and families with chronic diseases. I like to teach and give the families and the patients the tools to succeed.

I like working with kids because...

They are our future. They are smart and hungry for knowledge and can be taught to how to live healthy and productive lives. And I so appreciate their honesty! It has brought a smile to my face on many occasions!

I chose to work at Dayton Children's because...

I have been on staff at Dayton Children's since 1993, when I first moved to Dayton as a member of the United States Air Force. I retired from the military in 2007, and I wanted to continue to work at a children’s hospital. Dayton Children's was the obvious choice.

Dayton Children's is special because...

It is big enough for multiple subspecialties and state-of-the-art technology, but small enough to provide personal attention and one on one care.

The doctor was very professional and she helped us understand what diagnosis that my son is going through. I absolutely recommend her to anyone that has to be seen by an endocrinologist. And I just wanted to say thank you again for treating us with really a lot of kindness. And you're so polite and so understanding and you have no idea how much that meant to me. Thank you.
