get to know me

I chose my specialty because...

I enjoy working with patients and families with chronic diseases. I like to teach and give the families and the patients the tools to succeed.

I like working with kids because...

They are our future. They are smart and hungry for knowledge and can be taught to how to live healthy and productive lives. And I so appreciate their honesty! It has brought a smile to my face on many occasions!

I chose to work at Dayton Children's because...

I have been on staff at Dayton Children's since 1993, when I first moved to Dayton as a member of the United States Air Force. I retired from the military in 2007, and I wanted to continue to work at a children’s hospital. Dayton Children's was the obvious choice.

Dayton Children's is special because...

It is big enough for multiple subspecialties and state-of-the-art technology, but small enough to provide personal attention and one on one care.
