The blood draw is was done incorrectly and even though I questioned her about doing a blood draw via the vein she went ahead and did the blood draw via vein even though it wasn't A-1 C which should have just been a finger prick. I was very disappointed my child has had diabetes for 13 years every time A-1 C is done via a finger prick not via the vein. I let Dr. Almazon know how unhappy I was

Dr. Almazan is a great doctor. I'm very pleased in her services. She's very respectful and she really cares about my son or she says she cares about my son and what's going on with him.

We tried to check in at the kiosk on main floor as usual. It wouldn't let us check in so we went upstairs to check in. There was a sign up saying to go downstairs to check in. We had to ask for help to find out where to check in. That is the only issue during this visit. Dr. Almazan and the include lab staff..are amazing!! This is the only Dayton Children's campus I will ever go to.

We were quite impressed with Dr. Almazan. She took the time to thoroughly review our child's record prior to our visit and asked many clarifying or specific questions to help form the proper treatment plan. She was kind and gentle both to the patient, as well as parent. She took her time to ensure all questions and concerns were carefully answered before concluding the visit. She also provided quality literature to take home to further educate us on our child's condition. The nurses and staff in this department were equally great!
