I chose my specialty because...

based upon my own personal experiences, I have a true passion for helping children and teens overcome the obstacles of having a chronic medical condition. I love helping children and their families learn to not just live with their medical condition, but to thrive with it.

the staff is friendly, family-centered, and wants to provide the best possible care to each child.

this is a smaller hospital where each child is truly viewed as important and needing individualized care.

Dr. Phillips is very patient and kind. We have been so grateful for her help. We could not have made it to the first year after my son's type 1 diabetes diagnosis without her. She really taught us coping skills that we have used as a family and she has really helped my son. Feel better about his diagnosis and deal with a lot of the anxiety and the social issues that came up. We are so happy to have Dr. Philips as our provider.
