get to know me

I like working with kids because...

I have always loved working with kids and I'm and thrilled to continue my career in pediatrics at Dayton Children's Hospital. Children are so resilient and never let their illnesses hold them back. They are a joy to be around and always keep me laughing.

I chose my specialty because

I have worked as a pediatric emergency department nurse for six years leading up to graduate school and went to Vanderbilt to complete their Emergency Nurse/Family Nurse Practitioner program. I have enjoyed working in the ED because everyday is different and you care for a diverse patient population.

I chose to work at Dayton Children's because...

their core values align with my goals as a provider. One of their values is to deliver compassionate family-centered care. I always strive to treat all of my patients with compassion and include them in determining the plan of care.

Dayton Children's is special because...

it is a pillar for the children in the Dayton community. Dayton Childrens is a place of hope and healing for pediatric patients and their families.
