get to know me

I chose my specialty because...

I enjoy working with teens. The teenage years can be difficult and it helps to have someone you can trust to help you navigate those years. I remember how one doctor really helped me when I was a teen. I'm humbled to be able to offer that same kind of help today.

I like working with kids because...

they are always learning, even when they make mistakes.

I chose to work at Dayton Children's because...

our youth deserve excellent care that's close to home. I offer a unique perspective on health that complements and adds to the Dayton Children's experience.

Dayton Children's is special because...

everyone here cares about the patients!

Yes, Dr. Stewart, she's very good at answering all questions and explaining things so that you can understand. So I just wanted to make a comment.

Dr. Stewart is a very, very understanding person. She takes her time, and it's them and your child, and she explain things in details, so that the child can understand what she's saying. And I would recommend her very, very highly to family members and friends, and anybody that asked me about it, very highly. And the nurses are just as good, they're excellent. They have patience, and they worked very diligent with you, and the family. Just as. So have a great one. Looking forward to seeing her again, and staff.

Dr. Stewart acknowledged my daughter as first a person and secondly as a young person a grown into a young adult with maturity so the interaction and direction of the visit was to her and with her and that was greatly appreciated by myself at the parent and also by my daughter.
