 Objectives:

  1. Review the pathophysiology, etiology and epidemiology of pediatric multiple sclerosis (MS).
  2. Discuss the diagnostic criteria for pediatric MS according to the Revised McDonald Criteria (International Panel on the Diagnosis of MS and the International Pediatric MS Study Group).
  3. Cite tools used to make the diagnosis.
  4. Recognize treatment options, including old, new and those in clinical trials.
