Objectives:
- Review the pathophysiology, etiology and epidemiology of pediatric multiple sclerosis (MS).
- Discuss the diagnostic criteria for pediatric MS according to the Revised McDonald Criteria (International Panel on the Diagnosis of MS and the International Pediatric MS Study Group).
- Cite tools used to make the diagnosis.
- Recognize treatment options, including old, new and those in clinical trials.
