innovative child-centered care
At Dayton Children's, we know that to be the best hospital for our children, we must also be the best for families. Supporting parents during the difficult journey of a child's illness. Addressing emotional and social needs. These aren't mere niceties. They are essentials that make us a healing hospital.
research and innovation
Dayton Children’s is dedicated to pursuing clinical research that helps children live healthier lives. Our research program is built on a culture of innovation and expanding rapidly. Through investigator-initiated and industry-supported clinical trials, our investigators are harnessing the power of cutting-edge technology to figure out what causes some pediatric diseases and then targeting treatments accordingly.
When a child’s mental health needs are unmet, it can have lifelong consequences. Dayton Children’s is leading the community response to the behavioral health crisis of our region’s children. With your help, we will increase access to vital mental health services for kids in-crisis and provide healing and hope for children and their families.
Optimal child health and wellness are about so much more than we can influence within the walls of the hospital. 80% of a child’s health is determined by their environment and other conditions outside their clinical care. Sadly, there are thousands of children whose health is being negatively impacted by adverse social factors on a daily basis. With your help, we will improve the health status of all children by expanding our community health and outreach programs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
