Objectives:

  1. Explore reasons why someone may become a foster parent and what the licensing process entails.
  2. Review the basic concepts of attachment styles, and how to approach attachment concerns.
  3. Discuss different parenting styles and how these approaches may need to be adjusted for kids in foster care or with trauma.
