hospitalist (nocturnist)

The Division of Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine is actively seeking a third full-time pediatric hospitalist to join our growing team and staff our new nocturnist program. Ideal candidates will be excellent clinicians, BE/BC in Pediatrics, and have experience or strong interest in providing medical education to residents and medical students. Planned nocturnist schedule is 3 nights on followed by 6 nights off. The position also features: 

•12-hour night shifts

•Three FTE model for nights (Additional 10 FTE for day/afternoon coverage)

•3 on/6 off base schedule for nocturnists

•Academic program with a strong pediatric residency, excellent opportunities for teaching residents/students, and faculty appointment through Wright State University. •Free-standing, independent, exclusively pediatric hospital with full complement of subspecialty services

•No delivery/nursery responsibilities (free-standing children's hospital only; no L&D on site)

•State-of-the-art, new patient tower
