Dayton Children’s has an opportunity for an experienced anesthesiologist to lead our anesthesiology services.   In addition to clinical practice, this physician will have administrative responsibilities which include developing physician and CRNA staffing plans, directing departmental quality improvement activities, maintaining compliance with The Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements, participation in the development and implementation of the hospital’s strategic plan for growth of surgical services, coordinating medical education experiences and ensuring the efficient provision of anesthesia services to the O.R., south campus surgery center and other areas of the hospital.

The anesthesiology department currently consists of 17 board certified/board eligible anesthesiologists, 13 CRNAs and 2 anesthesia techs as well as a business manager and office coordinator.

The successful candidate will be employed by Dayton Children’s Specialty Physicians and must be licensed/licensable in Ohio, board certified in anesthesiology with significant pediatric experience or board certified in pediatric anesthesiology, have experience in a leadership role and a minimum of 10 years of clinical experience.
