Sugarcreek testing center closing in february
To best use resources, Dayton Children’s will consolidate services from the Sugarcreek Township testing center to three other locations. Currently this spot at 6116 Wilmington Pike offers rehab, lab and imaging services.
The last day for rehab appointments will be Tuesday, January 17, 2017. The final day for imaging and lab services will be Saturday, February 18, 2107.
Families in need of these services can find them at three other nearby locations.
- Beavercreek, 3224 Dayton-Xenia Road – rehab,imaging and lab
- Kettering, 4475 Far Hills Avenue - imaging and lab
- South campus, 3333 W. Tech Road, Miamisburg – rehab, imaging and lab
As always, Dayton Children’s strives to provide the services families want close to home and as cost effectively as possible. A thorough review of the data showed that for those who visited the Sugarcreek Township location, one of the three other options was equal distance or even closer to their home. Consolidating the services allows Dayton Children’s to be good stewards of funds, staff and operational efficiencies while continuing to serve families and children with the services they need, when and where they need them.
