What is TytoCare? 

TytoCare is a virtual care platform with a remote medical exam device.

TytoCare Medical Exam Kit is designed to replicate the exams performed during an in-office exam. Tyto offers your provider high quality digital sounds of the heart and lungs, high quality digital images and video of the ears, throat and skin, and body temperature.

Is TytoCare FDA cleared?

TytoCare Stethoscope is FDA cleared and all other devices comply with FDA requirements.

What exams can I do with the Tyto Medical Exam Kit?

TytoCare visit provides your physician with high-quality digital sounds of the heart and lungs, high-quality digital images and video of the ears, throat, and skin and measures heart rate and body temperature. Using this examination data, your doctor can provide you with a diagnosis, treatment plan, and prescription if needed.

Who can use the TytoHome device?

The TyotoHome device can be used by any child in your household under the age of 18 years old. 

What kind of conditions can I use TytoHome for? 

TytoHome can help a healthcare provider diagnose and treat many common conditions, including:

  • Allergies
  • Asthma
  • Bronchitis
  • Bug bites
  • Cold and flu
  • Constipation
  • Ear infections
  • Fever
  • Nausea
  • Pink eye
  • Rashes
  • Sore throats
  • Upper respiratory infections

Is there a monthly subscription fee to use TytoCare?

No, there is no monthly subscription fee to use TytoCare.

How will my data and privacy be protected? 

All the data is encrypted, and the TytoCare platform is HIPAA-compliant.

What do I need to use the TytoCare Medical Exam Kit? 

You will need a smartphone or tablet and a Wi-Fi internet connection.

For Smartphone and Tablets: The TytoCare app works with iOS (latest two versions) and Android (4.4.4 and above). Here are the specific requirements needed:

  • Apple device users: iOS 10 or newer; iPhone 5S, iPad Air, iPad mini, iPod touch 6, plus newer models
  • Android device users: Android 4.4.4 or newer; Samsung Galaxy S5, S6 plus, Note 5, A7, J7 and up, LG G4 and up

Do I need any training to use TytoCare? 

Most individuals will find TytoCare easy to use. We have training videos and guidance technology to help you through the process. You can also schedule a free 1-on-1 30-minute training session with our virtual trainers.

Do I need to schedule an appointment to use TytoCare? 

No, just use your MyKidsChart app to request a visit on demand with one of our Kids Express providers. No appointment necessary.

How can I get technical support for TytoCare?

If you need assistance with MyKidsChart, contact our help desk at 1-877-355-3155. You can get help with proxy access issues (i.e., access to get care for a family member), MyChart login issues (i.e., username and password), MyKidsChart app errors/messages.

For help with Tyto login and pairing issues, as well as Tyto error messages, contact TytoCare customer service at 1-866-971-TYTO (8986), option 2, or send an email to support@TytoCare.com.

How do I turn on push notifications for MyChart?

  • Go to “Settings” on your mobile device.
  • Click on “Notifications.”
  • Scroll down through your apps and select “MyChart” to turn them on.
  • Log in to your MyChart app with your username and password.
  • Once logged in, click the three vertical dots in the upper right hand corner of your screen.
  • Click “Account Settings” from the menu.
  • In the “Notifications” bar, swipe right to turn on push notifications.
