Objectives:
- Recognize spiritual and emotional care of patients and families at end of life (EOL), death and bereavement.
- Discuss the practical steps of end of life, death and bereavement.
- Examine how a death disrupts, confirms, or initiates a person’s meaning making system.
- Contrast the role of spirituality in the patient, family and care givers’ experiences.
