child/adolescent psychiatrist

We are recruiting for a full time or part time child/adolescent psychiatrist to join our expanding Center for Pediatric Mental Health Resources. The successful candidate must be an MD or DO, have completed a child/adolescent psychiatry fellowship, be board certified/eligible and obtain an unrestricted medical license in Ohio.

This is primarily an outpatient practice with the opportunity to work with patients with developmental and intellectual disabilities, medical comorbidity and psychiatrically complex problems. Join a dedicated, multidisciplinary team of three psychiatrists, 12 psychologists, two nurses, one social worker and three office staff in a positive and supportive work environment. Enjoy a flexible schedule which offers work-life balance; a schedule for full time is approximately 25 patient visits/week. The opportunity to supervise and teach pediatric and psychiatry residents exists through the hospital’s affiliation with Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Research opportunities are available but not required.

Our Center for Pediatric Mental Health Resources provides excellent leadership and mentoring of new faculty. Along with support from senior leadership, there is a strong collaboration with other members of the mental health team and with pediatric subspecialists.

This position is employed by the Children’s Care Group and includes a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
