Dayton Children's physician, Dr. Pascoe, nationally recognized

The Children's Medical Center of Dayton is pleased to announce that John Pascoe, MD, MPH was recently informed his abstract "A New Social Capital Scale: Geographic Stability Compared to Income, Personal Support and Depressive Symptoms," was accepted for this November's Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars meeting in San Diego. 

The abstract describes the use of a new social capital scale, administered to almost 700 parents from Dayton Children's developmental pediatrics department as well as within practices from Southwestern Ohio Ambulatory Research Network (SOAR-Net). 

Dr. Pascoe is currently a pediatrician at Dayton Children's, a professor in the department of pediatrics as well as chief general/community pediatrics, at Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine. His special interest is in child health research and has been recognized as one of the Best Doctors in America. 

Dr. Pascoe and his family reside in Sugarcreek Township.
