Erica Lucas is a nurse practitioner in the urology department at Dayton Children's Hospital. Erica's experience with Dayton Children's expands beyond the care she provides as a nurse practitioner. She has been a student, a nurse, a parent and a family member. And in every interaction, she has witnessed the above and beyond compassion and care provided.
Erica's role at Dayton Children's includes treating and diagnosing patients with urological conditions, including urinary tract infections and dysfunctional voiding. She received her registered nursing degree from Kettering College of Medical Arts and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing-Neonatal Nurse Practitioner from Wright State University. She also earned her Master of Science in Nursing-Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Wright State University.
Erica's favorite thing about working with kids is how they see the world in a different light. They have amazing imaginations, creativity and resiliency.
Outside of work Erica enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also participates in martial arts.

We had a great experience with Dr. Erica and the whole Urology department. We barely had to wait to get called back and were able to see the doctor very quickly. The staff is always very welcoming and helpful when it comes to understanding our daughter's condition. We are always pleased with our experiences at Dayton Childrens.

Erica was great! My daughter was pretty nervous about her visit but she was totally at ease with Erica and felt like she didn't have to be embarrassed about being there. Everyone from check-in to our appointment to the labs she needed to have drawn after was so nice and helpful. Thank you!
