Objectives:

  1. Define the “Highly Sensitive Child” and how to identify them.
  2. Review the different diagnoses that may lead you to identify a child who is highly sensitive vs having a mental health diagnosis.
  3. Describe ways the medical community can support these children and their families and highlight resources for clinicians as well as families on this topic.
