Brittany Morehart, PMHNP, APRN, is a pediatric nurse practitioner in the division of psychiatry at Dayton Children's Hospital. Brittany completed her undergraduate degree at Malone University and then attended The Ohio State University for graduate school. Prior to becoming at nurse practitioner, Brittany worked as a registered nurse on the inpatient behavioral health unit at Dayton Children's.

Brittany has a special interest in treating children with depression, anxiety, ADHD and children dealing with different traumas. She loves working with children because they make each day fun and interesting.

Outside of the hospital, Brittany enjoys spending time with her family and cats! She loves to travel and experience different foods from around the world.

I chose my specialty because...

I am passionate for those who are stigmatized against. Growing up with deaf parents and a sister with autism, I have seen firsthand how people are treated if they are perceived as different. I hope when any child is seen at the psychiatry clinic that they feel like they can be themselves and get the help that they need.
