Sara Adducchio, CPNP-AC is a pediatric nurse practitioner in the division of neurology at Dayton Children’s Hospital. Sara was born in Michigan but raised in Ohio. She completed her undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University. She then moved to the Dayton region to complete her advanced practice degree at Wright State University.
She has a special interest in caring for pediatric patients with epilepsy and headaches but she sees patients with a variety of other neurologic diagnoses as well.
Sara’s favorite thing about working with kids is their fresh perspective on life, their resiliency and desire to learn and be better. The excitement they have for each new day and working with their families to improve their quality of life provides an overwhelming sense of joy and satisfaction.
Outside of work Sara enjoys being outside and exploring with family and friends. Sara enjoys hiking, running, sports and exploring new places.

She was courteous, she was kind, she worked well both with me and my son. She also not only laid out the next step with his treatment, but gave several options for future treatment should things need to change. And I truly, truly appreciated that she worked out several options because this means that we're able to move forward quicker without having to have as many visits. I was very, very, very pleased. Even my son commented how nice she was when we left. So I definitely two thumbs up.

Sara is wonderful! Talks to my child and not just to me. And then she listens carefully! She did a fantastic job explaining, laying out our options and then helping us decide the best course of action! Tequila and Jen R were also very helpful and kind. It was a great experience!

Sara is wonderful!! She is very kind and understanding with my son. He absolutely loves her and enjoys his appts. with her. She is knowledgeable and works hard to be accommodating to her pts. She is funny, kind and listens well.
