Objectives:
- Illustrate change in respiratory system physiology with age, and how that impacts treatment decisions for children with respiratory disorders and breathing control disorders.
- Discuss change in normal sleep with age.
- Describe how to differentiate between normal and abnormal sleep.
- Recognize how to implement treatment strategies for children with gas exchange abnormalities and/or different forms of control of breathing disorders.
