get to know me

I chose my specialty because...

I have always been very interested in how the brain can control the many things we do in life. It is fascinating to me how an individual exists in two states of life - awake and asleep.

I like working with kids because...

they are innocent and vulnerable and need help.

I chose to work at Dayton Children's because...

it takes very good care of it's healthcare workers and provides a good environment to deliver care.

Dayton Children's is special because...

it employs a diverse group of people and serves a unique function to deliver care to a community that is diverse.

He's very Nice but I don't know why we were not told a long time ago that there wasn't really any treatment options for his apnea until it hit a certain level. It felt like just a waste of time to have this appointment to check on treatment options. In addition he had very obviously not reviewed my son's chart before he came in he was talking about things that we had already had done so he hadn't even looked at it before our appointment which was a little frustrating

My grandson had career day at school, which he dressed as doctor. He wanted to wear for appointment. Both the nurse and doctor spoke positively to him about being a doctor. Loved the encouragement

Very nice, but didn't seem to listen to patient. Seemed to have preconceived notions?
