pediatric hospitalist for nocturnist program

Dayton Children’s Hospital’s Division of Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine is actively seeking a third full-time pediatric hospitalist to join our growing team and staff our new nocturnist program. Ideal candidates will be excellent clinicians, BE/BC in Pediatrics, and have experience or strong interest in providing medical education to residents and medical students. Planned nocturnist schedule is three nights on followed by six nights off.

  • 12-hour night shifts
  • Three FTE model for nights (Additional 10 FTE for day/afternoon coverage)
  • 3 on/6 off base schedule for nocturnists
  • Academic program with a strong pediatric residency, excellent opportunities for teaching residents/students, and faculty appointment through Wright State University.
  • Free-standing, independent, exclusively pediatric hospital with full complement of subspecialty services
  • No delivery/nursery responsibilities (free-standing children's hospital only; no L&D on site)
  • State-of-the-art, new patient tower opening this year
