get to know me

I chose my specialty because...

I found anatomic pathology very interesting early in my career. Investigating unexpected disease and unknown findings are fascinating. Especially, when you are part of the team in assisting with the diagnosis and treatment.

I like working with kids because...

I cannot imagine what parents go through when their child is diagnosed with a life changing catastrophic disease. The pressure and stress that the parents go though. Wondering what to do next and their child will be well again. Being a parent, it is heartbreaking and stressful on what to do. I am thankful that I have the privilege to be part of a team that can help and relieve the stress off of parents. So, they can be reassured that their child is getting the best treatment. So, the parents can focus on being mom and dad.

I chose to work at Dayton Children's because...

Amazing environment!

Dayton Children's is special because...

Everyone has one goal - "always going above and beyond for our kids"
