This is the third year for the Buffalo Wild Wings Richmond location to participate and help the children in Dayton Children’s 20-county region.
“We feel very fortunate to have Dayton Children’s in our backyard. The care they give to the kids in our community is second to none,” says John Slaughenhaupt, owner of Buffalo Wild Wings.
“That makes supporting Dayton Children’s an easy decision to make and one of the most rewarding things we do all year long.”
Since 2001, Buffalo Wild Wings has raised over $180,000 for Dayton Children’s including last year’s total of over $36,000 for the hospital. Buffalo Wild Wings also holds an annual golf outing in September to benefit the hospital.
“We are so grateful for the wonderful support from the employees and customers at Buffalo Wild Wings,” says Debbie Butner, Children’s Miracle Network manager at Dayton Children’s.
“They continue to impact the quality of pediatric care we are able to provide the many young children we serve. We look forward to recognizing them each year on the Children’s Miracle Network telethon in June.”
Funds raised are used towards the purchase of vital medical equipment throughout the patient care areas of the medical center.
