On April 30, 2010, Dayton Children’s celebrated the opening of the first phase of the Soin Pediatric Trauma and Emergency Center. Led by Patti Schear, Campaign Chair, the “Meet the Need” campaign has raised $4.5 million to date toward our minimum philanthropic goal of $5.3 million. Featuring an interactive wall in the waiting room, two state-of-the-art trauma rooms and improved family amenities, the new center is scheduled to be complete next summer.
