Media Release: Ring in the holidays with the 45th annual Sugarplum Festival of Trees

Proceeds from event to benefit The Children’s Medical Center of Dayton

The TWIGS, the auxiliary of Dayton Children’s, are ready to celebrate their 45^th annual holiday event, the Sugarplum Festival of Trees on November 16 to 18. The event will be held at the Presidential Banquet Center at 4548 Presidential Way in Kettering.

Proceeds from the event will go towards the TWIG pledge of $500,000 to the pediatric cancer and blood disorders care endowment. The endowment was created to enhance an already family-focused cancer care program connecting patients with multiple resources dealing with care, treatment, education, support groups and much more.

Festivities include some reservation only events, but there a number of events on Saturday and Sunday that are free and open to the public. Saturday, November 17 (free admission, free parking)

Time: 9:00 am to 3:30 pm

Luncheon: 10:30 am (reservations only) $35/person

Sunday, November 18 (free admission, free parking)

Time: 9:00 am – 3:30 pm

Brunch with Santa: 9:30 am, 11:30 am, 1:30 pm (reservations only)
$14 for adults, $10 for children (2 – 10 years), $3 for children under 2 years
