Media Release: Dayton Children's welcomes new manager of pastoral services

07-10-2009 (Dayton, OH) - The Children's Medical Center of Dayton is pleased to welcome Reverend Cecelia A.K. Sledge as the manager of pastoral services. Sledge joins Dayton Children's from RiverPoint Ministries United Methodist Church where she served as the senior pastor, spiritual leader, pastoral counselor, and church administrator for a 245 member church since 2004.

Prior to joining RiverPoint Ministries, Rev. Sledge served as the associate pastor for Belmont United Methodist Church in Dayton from 1998 to 2004. From 1997-2004, she was a chaplain intern and on-call chaplain for Dayton Children's.

In 2001, she completed her clinical pastoral education at Kettering Memorial Hospital.

Rev. Sledge resides in Beavercreek.
