Volume:All urine from each of 3 collections.
Container:3 urine collection containers
Temperature:Obtain 3 containers and instruction sheet for Urine Orthostatic Test from laboratory or Nephrology. Return filled out instruction sheet with urine collections. Refrigerate during collection. Transport to laboratory after last collection.
Rejection:Failure to follow instructions on Urine Test for Proteinuria Instruction Sheet. Incomplete collections.
Normal:UPR: 1 - 14 mg/dL
UCRE: 30 - 125 mg/dL
Uses:Evaluate the possibility that the protein excretion in the urine is associated with changes in position and/or activity.
