Welcome to Dayton Children’s
Thank you for choosing Dayton Children’s. For more than 45 years, we have provided family-centered care in a child-friendly, healing environment.
This guide outlines the basic information you need to know about coming and staying at Dayton Children’s, including where to eat, park or buy a gift, information about staying overnight, educational resources available for your child’s condition and more.
Who will make your child feel better?
We believe that the best way to care for a child’s health is to make the family part of the health care team. Parents and family members are a child’s main source of strength and support, and they are the one constant in the child’s care. Families are the experts on the child’s abilities and needs, making them an important part of the decision-making process when it comes to health care decisions.
A team of health care professionals will take care of your child during his or her stay at Dayton Children’s. Your child’s care team may include doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists and more. We welcome and encourage your questions so that we may provide your child with the best care possible.
