return to sports after COVID-19 physicals

Kids Express is now offering return-to-sports after COVID-19 physicals for youth athletes. These physicals are required by the Ohio High School Athletic Association and an athlete must have a completed from by a healthcare practitioner before being cleared for participation in their sport.

Who qualifies for one of these physicals at Kids Express?

Teens age 18 and under with a history of COVID-19 infection AND 10 days out from diagnosis.

Presentation of COVID in patient must have been mild or asymptomatic.

If patient was severely ill for more than four days, they will need to be cleared by their primary care physician as it may require an EKG. Learn more. 

Where are these physicals being done, what do they cost and how can they be scheduled?

Return to play physicals are available at all three Kids Express locations: West Chester, Mason and Springboro. These physicals will cost the same as your copay to your primary care physician.
