Dayton Children's hires new orthopedic surgeon
Craig Shank, MD, has joined Dayton Children’s Orthopedic Center. Dr. Shank comes to Dayton Children’s from the orthopedic surgery division at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
Dr. Shank received his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He then completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Seattle Children’s Hospital in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Shank has special interest in pediatric trauma, foot and ankle deformity, and pediatric hip disease.
Dr. Shank joins Michael Albert, MD, James Lehner, MD, and Jeffrey Mikutis, DO, in the Orthopedic Center as well as a team of highly trained orthopedic staff members who provide care for infants, children and teens at Dayton Children’s.
Dr. Shank and his family reside in Oakwood, Ohio.
