our heritage

Masters of innovation.

Our new logo represents what Dayton Children’s does best – putting patient families at the center and finding better ways to meet their needs. We designed this logo based on the innovation of the Wright Brothers. As children, they were given a toy whirligig which later inspired them to pioneer flight. Dayton Children’s founders were likewise pioneers who were inspired to create a local, specialized facility to serve the needs of our community’s children.

Today, we celebrate this spirit of innovation as we transform from the inside out, all with kids at the center of everything we do.
