Objectives:
- Identify the potential negative effects of interruptive clinical decision support systems.
- Assess several methods of identifying alerts that are malfunctioning or poorly targeted.
- Recognize strengths/shortcomings of various alert frequency metrics and how they might be used to prioritize improvements.
