water main break on N. Keowee

Due to the water main break yesterday afternoon in the city of Dayton, the Keowee Street bridge (located at the north end of Valley Street) remains closed. 

If you are coming to Dayton Children’s, please take Route 4 to Stanley Ave. and avoid North Keowee. A detour is also available off of U.S. Route 35. 

No patient care was impacted by the water main break and Dayton Children’s is operating as normal today.

At 2:00 pm a water main break occurred on North Keowee Street near Dayton Children’s main campus.

If you are coming to our main campus at 1 Children’s Plaza, please take route 4 to Stanley Ave. and avoid North Keowee.

We are following recommendations from Montgomery County and are conserving water. No patient care is currently impacted.
