a simple make ahead breakfast

learn how to make overnight oats

Looking for a simple, healthy breakfast? You may know that oatmeal can be a healthy, filling morning meal, but can't even think of eating a steaming bowl of hot oats in this hot weather. This cool, tasty treat may be just the breakfast for you!

Overnight oats will fuel you for the rest of the morning and can be customized to match your taste buds! Another bonus, is that this recipe can be made ahead of time so that you save a few minutes in the morning. 

overnight oats recipe

  • ½ cup whole rolled oats 
  • 1/3 cup vanilla greek yogurt 
  • 2/3 cup milk of choice 
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla 
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup 
  • Dash of cinnamon 
  • 1/3 cup fruit/topping of choice (this can include fruit, nuts, seeds, or granola)
