In this new position Cindy will be leading the clinical design of the long-range master facility planning and providing leadership for the Southwest Ohio Neonatal Collaborative and all the neonatal services associated with this care alliance with Miami Valley Hospital.  Cindy also provides clinical guidance and leadership on new business development opportunities.

Cindy is absolutely the right person for this important leadership role as she brings to the position a lot of experience in clinical innovation and building projects as well as neonatal services,” says Deborah Feldman, president and CEO of Dayton Children's. “Her clinical expertise and leadership will be critical to the successful renewal of our campus to help meet the needs of our patients and their families well into the future. Further, her experience in neonatal services and her focused leadership of the collaborative will be important to realizing our vision for that collaborative.”

Cindy, who has been with Dayton Children’s since 1988, led the hospital’s efforts to build the award-winning NICU and PICU and most recently the renovation of the Soin Pediatric Trauma and Emergency Center.  Her expertise in clinical evidenced-based design and her ability to translate that effectively into operations led to two prestigious Environment of Care Awards. She has directed all critical care services since 2001, the emergency and trauma center since 2008 and our Newborn Intensive Care Unit since 1988.
