The lipid clinic at Dayton Children’s provides comprehensive evaluation, education and treatment options for children with lipid disorders. Lipid disorders include things like high cholesterol, high triglycerides, insulin resistance syndrome, and complications of obesity and elevated BMI. Our team is led by pediatricians and a nurse practitioner with extra training in lipid disorders and obesity in children. The team also includes nurses, dietitians, office staff and medical assistants who are trained in helping patients and their families with obesity concerns.

The lipid clinic is available by phone at 937-641-4675 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

A physician referral is necessary prior to the child’s first outpatient visit. All follow up appointments will be made during your clinic visit or by calling central scheduling at 937-641-4000.
