my child has an upcoming appointment. what do I need to know?

• If you have tested positive or were exposed to COVID-19, please follow CDC guidelines.

• If you or your child feel sick, need to isolate or quarantine, or test positive for COVID in the 5 days before your appointment, please call your child’s clinic. They can help determine if your child still needs to be seen in person, switched to a video visit or rescheduled.

are masks required at Dayton Children's?

As of April 10, 2023, staff, visitors, patients and volunteers are no longer required to wear masks in public and patient care areas unless otherwise noted (i.e. isolation rooms, surgery).
