Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Integrated Pediatric Program at Dayton Children’s Hospital/Wright Patterson Air Force Base has 50 residents (including our chief residents). Each year, approximately eight categorical pediatric appointments are made to the PL-1 class through the National Resident Matching Program. The other eight categorical position are match via the military system. Prospective new residents are selected by a committee of full-time faculty, chief residents and residents from each training level.
The WSUBSOM Integrated Pediatric/Dayton Children' residency program participates in ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service). As part of your application, we ask for your USMLE score report, medical school transcript, dean’s letter, personal statement, and three letters of recommendation. For more information about the ERAS application process, contact your dean’s office.
We are conducting virtual interviews during the 2020-21 application season. The Thalamus system will be utilized for scheduling and virtual interviews platform this year. Letters of invite will be sent out by October 26th and applications will be accepted until December 4th 2020.
