“Red Line, Gray Line, or No Line?: Ethical and Empirical Considerations in Pediatric Euthanasia”

Objectives:
- Identify criteria for pediatric euthanasia outside of the US, including the content of the Groningen Protocol, in light of the historical use of euthanasia by physicians and governments.
- Critically analyze arguments in favor, and against, euthanasia in children.
- Integrate an understanding of the ethical arguments for and against pediatric euthanasia in devising possible alternatives to it in clinical practice and in society.
